The airport at Newark provides short term, long term and also valet parking, and there is also provision of spaces for travellers with disabilities.

Short Term Parking

Each of the three terminals at Newark Liberty International Airport has it’s own short term parking area, called A, B and C to link in with the corresponding terminals. They are all close to the airport, making them useful for picking up and dropping off travellers.

Daily Parking

There is a system called the AirTrain that runs around the periphery of the terminals area and links each of the terminals with the railway station as well as a number of other local car parks. It’s main route covers what are called the daily parking lots, known as P1, P2 and P3 and also the multi-storey car park known as P4.

P1 to P3 are where the car hire companies keep their vehicles so is ideal for passengers taking a hire car, whilst P4 is where the hotels operate their courtesy vehicles from.

Economy Long Term Parking

Situated further away from the airport is the Economy long term parking, known as P6. There is a regular free shuttle that runs between the car park and each of the three terminals, with a service roughly every 15 minutes.

Disabled Parking

Understanding the needs of disabled travellers, the car parks that are closest to the terminal entrances have a number of spaces reserved for them. As well as being close to the entrance they also benefit from a lower parking rate, though please ensure all relevant disability documentation can be clearly seen through the windscreen.
